A recent stay at Lark Meadow inspired one of our guests to pen the following poem. It just goes to show how taking a break in relaxed surroundings can get the creative juices flowing!

Lark Meadow

We came to a place near Kirby Lonsdale
To stay at Lark Meadow,
Wow, what tranquility we found,
Left Birmingham 3 hours ago.

The rolling hills, the cows, the sheep,
So removed from the norm of Brum
A chink of glass "Cheers me Dears"
Now the holiday's begun.

The decor is so cool, so fresh and new
Home from home and more
Devils bridge, the lakes and all the walks
are just outside the door.

Chillin by the fireside
Wine and beer is poured,
So much to do at Lark Meadow
No chance of getting bored.
