Lark Meadow cottage is situated in the rolling countryside of north west England, where Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire meet. From here, the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District with its National Park and the coastline of Morecambe Bay are all within easy reach. If you are travelling on the M6 from the north or south, leave the motorway at Junction 36 and go East on the A65 (signed to Skipton). After 6 miles, as you pass the town of Kirkby Lonsdale, you will cross the River Lune where you can see the mysterious Devil's Bridge, which is a focal point for visitors who enjoy riverside relaxation. Just half a mile further and The Whoop Hall Hotel & leisure complex is on your right. Turn in at the Whoop Hall entrance and you will find Lark Meadow Cottage in the adjacent development. For those travelling from an easterly direction, take the A65 signposted for Skipton and Kendal. Once through the town of Ingleton, you will find The Whoop Hall a mile beyond the village of Cowan Bridge. Lark Meadow cottage |
